Construction Manager (Street Lighting and Traffic Signals) – Airdrie
- Overall project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Coordinate, schedule and sequence site work in a manner that is consistent with requirements of each project and proactively look for roadblocks and ways to accelerate progress
- Mentor, train, and coach construction crews to contribute to the development of strong and effective teams, supporting them to be successful in their roles and gain the knowledge and skills required to advance in their field of expertise
- Motivate, lead and work with various team players, including the client, consultants, inspectors, and subcontractors, trades people, field employees, and suppliers
- Keep accurate and current records of variations to subcontract works and site conditions
- Effectively communicate with project team as it pertains to the daily work activities, project milestones and schedule adherence
- Work with the project team to define constraints and priorities for each week
- Travel between job sites to follow-up and ensure that project timelines are maintained according to client expectations
- Displays accountability when providing responsible leadership to crews in the completion of assignments on a day-to-day operational basis while meeting workload and safety requirements
- Provide solutions to construction challenges as they arise.
- Conduct project completion meetings ensuring all deficiencies are completed, and the project was provided in a high-quality manner consistent with our Core Values
- Assist with Employee Performance Reviews, disciplinary reviews and action plans
- Assist the Safety with the investigation of any incidents or complaints and preparation of reports
- Other duties as assigned
- Strong knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control and engineering drawings
- Ability to be adaptable, manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and experience in dealing with contractors and the public
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Tech Tools, GIS as well as spreadsheet applications
- Ability to identify potential risks, determine root cause, develop actionable solutions to meet project milestones and budget requirements
- Demonstrated experience in developing and mentoring teams
- Ability to perform physical labour as part of the job duties
- Ability to work in inclement weather conditions
- Ability to workdays/nights/weekends or out of town if necessary
- Combination of work experience and/or technical training in an industry-related trade certification/education program with a minimum 10 years related experience
- Registered as a Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T) with APEGA or Registered as a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) with ASET is an asset
- Journeyman Electrician is an asset
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
- Class 3Q Drivers license

Traffic Signal Technician (Electrician) – ROW
- Install, maintain and repair traffic signal systems, subsystems, pedestrian crossovers, street lighting, flashing beacons and other traffic electrical devices
- Implement and monitor traffic signal timing plans
- Perform routine diagnostics of signal malfunctions utilizing traffic signal control systems

Digger Derrick Operator 3Q – Edmonton
- Ensure safe and effective operations of equipment such as digger derricks, bucket trucks, skid steers, mini excavators, pulling trailers, rigging for lifts etc.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance and mechanical checks.
